Rough Clear - KD Clear

The Hammond Cedar Mill has 5 kilns on site with a total capacity of 850Mfbm or 2005M3 at any one time. Whether it is custom drying or our regular program of 7/8” Select KD #2 Clear, you can be assured of the strictest of controls on our kilning procedure.

Select KD 2 Clear

The Select KD # 2 Clear is pre-graded through sawmill, sized and graded in our planing facility and once again after the drying process. The result of this 3 step process is the highest standard #2 Clear product available. This product is ideal for the manufacturer who wants a semi-ready product with no falldown for their own custom patterns. It is available in 7/8x6 (20.5x148mm) and 7/8x8 (20.5x198mm). Custom Drying

For the customer who would prefers to have a ready kiln dried product for quicker manufacturing times, we can also dry sizes any of our other grades as well. Enquire about kiln drying any of the sizes up to 2” in thickness.
